Bred in Manhattan and spread across stages nationwide, SCHISM is the world’s first and longest-running national touring tribute to TOOL.

 

Few bands ever attempt the precision, discipline, and depth required to authentically perform TOOL’s music. Formed in 2001 after witnessing TOOL live at Hammerstein Ballroom, four New York City musicians—Keith Williams (guitar), Pete Repole (vocals), Joe Cunningham (bass), and Donald Pusateri (drums)—set out to honor the music not as entertainment, but as an experience.

 

For more than 25 years, SCHISM has toured nationally, performing TOOL’s catalog with accuracy, restraint, and respect for its complexity. This is not background music. These songs demand attention—compositional works where rhythm, tension, and atmosphere collide.
